What we supply

Three materials.
One reliable source.

Fine particle · Primary fuel

Sawdust

Fine wood particle by-product from sawmilling operations. Sawdust is one of the most effective biomass fuels for steam and hot water boiler systems due to its consistent particle size, low moisture content when properly stored, and high energy density relative to its bulk volume.

Our sawdust is sourced from certified plantation sawmills and supplied under long-term agreements that guarantee consistent quality and volume. We can specify moisture content and particle sizing to match your boiler's optimal operating parameters.

Chipped timber · Versatile fuel

Wood Chips

Chipped timber from sawmill and forestry operations. Wood chips offer excellent energy density and are suited to a wide range of boiler configurations. Consistent chip sizing is critical for reliable fuel feed systems, and our supply chain maintains tight specifications.

Supplied from our Queensland sourcing partner HQP and additional suppliers across NSW, VIC and Tasmania. All sources are certified plantation timber operations with full chain of custody documentation.

Agricultural residue · High energy

Nut Shells & Husks

Macadamia shells and other agricultural by-products are exceptional biomass fuels — typically lower in moisture than wood-based materials and with high energy density per tonne. They are particularly well-suited to boilers designed for drier, denser fuels.

We source nut shells and husks from agricultural processors in Queensland and NSW, where large volumes of macadamia and other nut shell by-products are available as a consistent waste stream from processing operations.

All Justsen Pacific biomass materials are sourced exclusively from PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) or FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified plantation wood sources.

This means every tonne of material we supply comes with a full chain of custody — from certified plantation forest to your facility. We can provide certification documentation on request, supporting your own sustainability reporting and supplier compliance requirements.

For customers with corporate sustainability commitments — including major food and beverage manufacturers — our certified supply chain removes a significant compliance burden and provides assurance that your biomass fuel meets internationally recognised responsible sourcing standards.

PEFC Certified

Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification — the world's largest forest certification system.

FSC Certified

Forest Stewardship Council certification — internationally recognised responsible forest management standard.

Chain of Custody

Full documentation from certified source to delivered material — available for every supply contract.
